Mystic Archeology is a totally unrecognized field. There are no schools, colleges, or universities that confer degrees for it. Neither science nor religion recognize mysticism as anything more than imaginative superstition. But virtually all of the surviving major religions base their tenets on the words and deeds of a great mystic being. Such founders not identified as immortal-mortals in their lifetimes become so after death at the installation of a priestcraft. Once deceased, the reputation, teachings, and personality characteristics of the departed Master become the property of a designated, or assumed priestcraft; who thereafter act as interpreters and arbiters of their Master's divine wisdom. Direct experience by lay persons then becomes systematically, ideologically, and categorically denied. So, while mystic experience has spawned great religious systems, the inheritors of such systems have then destroyed the mystic basis for further additions of knowledge per se. But none deny that all of the late great avatars and prophets possessed esoteric knowledge and mystic abilities. They all fit the definition of a Yogi, which is one who has joined the higher and lower consciousness in a single embodiment, and thereby has direct access to the Infinite One. But in today's world only a small minority among the religious leadership support or believe mystic experience is part of a knowable, conjoined reality, composed of both the visible and invisible worlds. Neither do they recognize that there is any interface between the two except by the experience of death, at which time they say great mystic experience is automatic. Their idea is that death adds something to human consciousness, and that this post-mortem experience is limited only to those who have followed their orders, or sects. Those who can not achieve direct experience for themselves have incorporated into their dogma the idea that all who do obtain direct experience are evil. Those who in antiquity claimed to see clairvoyantly, or hear clairaudiently are worshipped. In the early/middle years of Christianity they were exterminated. Those who do it today are frequently shipped off to an institution. Essentially these types of religion represent a tyranny of ignorance. The only way to progress and growth is to migrate from ignorance to knowledge. In the progression from feelings, thoughts, belief, and knowledge, knowledge is the highest order of mentation. Knowledge only comes from direct experience. All else is mere belief. Belief, by definition, is an admission of not knowing. What can not knowing ever lead us to ? Sir Isaac newton is not known as a mystic, but in his own day he had to introduce and sell the idea that the major governing force behind the consistency of the entire universe was completely invisible. The existence of gravity was tough to prove and hard to sell in a times when there were few other great minds capable of understanding. And at a time when no vast network of speedy communication existed with which to reach such others as were capable of understanding. The point is, that at one time the existence of gravity itself, being invisible, was seen as a superstition. Things haven't changed much since then either. In the Wren Library at Cambridge University there is a display case with some of Newton's personal belongings. The case contains his walking cane, the head of which is carved in the image of a wizard, replete with a hat adorned with mystic symbols including stars, planets, and moons. The interpretation is up for grabs, but the indication is that he considered himself a mystic.
Modern Religions Acknowledges the Existence of Mysticism in the
Past The one thing the religious and academic communities can not change is the history left to us regarding mysticism, metaphysics, and the esoterica of previous generations. We have their work laced across the planet, stored in a systematic way, waiting for those who are particularly suited to gather that which has been scattered, and to return it to the public domain as general knowledge. After All, It Was Mystics, Metaphysicians, and Esotericists Who Introduced the Divine Aspects of Humankind in the Past Therefore the only possibility of recovering this knowledge is to trace the flow of mysticism through recorded history from the present to its point of origin if we can. This defines Mystic Archeology. While straight academicians are able to amass evidence in a cut and dried way, their interpretations of the meaning of the evidence is limited and related to modern religious suppositions, which are themselves by and large contorted by modern dogma. It takes a mystic to explore and identify the path. Mystic archeologists are not seeking name, title, rank, or position. They are seeking the ultimate in direct experience; the transmigration of an individual soul to its Divine origin in the here and now. If one starts on this path from the West, all roads lead to Egypt. In many cases in the ancient world of the Middle East, conquerors not only introduced their own laws and taxes, but also superimposed their own national religion on the conquered. Then as now, religion was highly political. In the case of the Egyptian religion precisely the opposite became the norm. The Greeks, the Romans, and then unwittingly the Christian world adopted the principles and tenets of the Egyptian priestcraft. This was fueled in the early going by the export of Egyptian Mystery School initiates who returned to their native lands, (many of them Greek and Roman,) and who brought with them the secret teachings acquired in Egypt. These 500 or so initiated graduates introduced such a grandly refined and well presented body of knowledge that virtually all of the modern Western concepts of religion, law, philosophy and government can be traced to ancient Egypt. Owing to the excellence of Egyptian understanding, both the Greeks and the Romans imported Egyptian priests into their households and communities. It is amazing to find that these two conquering societies were religious liberals (before the rise of Christianity.) Liberal of course, means having an open mind. While the flow of priests is largely unknown, some of the finest Egyptian monuments, statuary, obelisks, and art now rest in Italy, France, England, Germany, and the United States; in public squares at the Vatican, in the Louvre, in private collections, museums, and even Central Park. Virtually all of such treasures were either temple decorations, or part of the geodetic infrastructure by which the priest craft measured and mapped both heaven and earth. Many of the ancient Egyptian teachings have become twice told tales. During the so called dark and middle ages of Europe they were disguised in song, in poetry, literature, and art in such ways as to promulgate the principles without punishment. There were also a series of secret societies such as the Masons, the Rosicrucians, the Knights Templar and others which became vessels in Time for specific parts of the secret teachings of all ages. The preservation of symbols was an important part of their arcana. The mystic trail is long, sometimes wide and watered down, sometimes very narrow and specific. Mysticism is tough to trace because in the political competitions forced upon it by emerging belief systems, the combination of alliances between churches and states have largely been successful in alternately expunging, or appropriating the accomplishments of great mystics from history itself. History, as we all know, is written by the victor. Mystic Archeology must recover both that which has been destroyed, and that which was originally hidden by specific intent In comparison to this task modern archeology is a piece of cake. In Egypt, it's hard not to stub your toe on things ancient and profound. The digging up of physical evidence is not the all in all however. What modern science has missed is that the indigenous religion was an almost completely separate structure from the Great Mystery School at Giza. The Mystery School at Giza was enclosed on all sides by high stone walls. The remnants of the perimeter are still visible today. One of the entrances to this cloistered environment was excavated in the 1990's. The Pyramid complex at Giza was an hermetically sealed environment, physically and mystically. Profane persons never entered inside the walls, much less the Temples. It was a world unto itself. The lone exception was the person of the Pharaoh. According to Manly Palmer Hall, the Pharaoh participated in the initiation of the third degree. In this test, a candidate for initiation into the degree was first tempted by the Pharaoh, who offered his crown to the initiate in exchange for quitting the Mystery School. The candidate was said to have to discard the crown, and stomp it on the ground to pass one of the tests of temptation. The Mystery School respected the position of the Pharaoh. As a god-incarnate/King,the Pharaoh had jurisdiction over the indiginous laws, temple system, priestcraft, and subjects. The mystery school probably shared enough of their mystic techniques for a Pharaoh to occasionally impress everybody. But the Mystery School at Giza never was a part of the native Egyptian religion. Some Pharaohs were interred in proximity to the Pyramids, but no Pyramid was used as a tomb for one. Through pursuit of the mystic thread through history, we find that the highest levels of practice occurred in ancient Egypt. The school and its substance were preserved until the Roman occupation. The destruction of the Library at Alexandria was the beginning of the end. During this time period the Romans had Egyptian priests burning scrolls from the Library at Alexandria to heat their communal baths. The priests however, knew what was being destroyed and so burned blank scrolls for the Romans, depositing the true materials inside Cheops. Shortly after which, the entrances to the Pyramids were sealed and disguised. They have never been re-opened. Through a combination of intense study of comparative religious philosophies, mysticism, metaphysics, the occult, archeology, and anthropology, in addition to the mystic abilities of clair audience, clairvoyance, clair sentience, channeling, remote viewing, astral projection and intuition, we of the Open Cheops Committee believe that through the contents of the Pyramids we will know the truth of our origins and what is to come out of our future here on the planet Earth, in the created universe of Time, Space, and Causation. The contents of Cheops will extend the history of civilization at least 5 to 10 thousand years into antiquity. What we know is that conventional authorities categorically refuse to allow us a place at the table, despite the fact that we have presented evidence in support of our theories which more than meets any standard of scholarship. The evidence presented by the Open Cheops Committee more than justifies the opportunity to prove these newly introduced theories with physical inspection. But we are confronted with a mind set that holds that the modern state of Egypt is not only the custodian of these great monuments, but also owns the proprietary rights of the way this history is to be recorded and interpreted. We are sorry that the current leadership is intensely committed to the outdated theory that the Great Pyramids were built as tombs for Pharaohs. * This is not our fault, and should not be held against us, or anyone else attempting to introduce new ideas to the equation. All of the reasons for opposing the opening of the Great Pyramid of Cheops are related to the egos of a very few personalities. History should not be held hostage to the tightly closed minds of any individual conservative personality. Conservatives, of course, are those who want to prevent anything from happening for the first time. There
is an old parable, about the learned sage who is traveling to his
rendevous with destiny when he passes a toothless derelict dressed
in rags. As he passes he hears the derelict say that the bridge
over the river is in the hands of an opposing faction. Realizing
he must avoid the bridge to avoid capture, the learned sage changes
course and later arrives at his destination safely. The moral to
be found herein is simply this: The point here is that the community of established archeologists would do better to relate to the knowledge that we, the alternatives, bring to the table, rather than to criticize the messenger, or the messenger's methodology. How someone knows something is less important than that they know, and many of us in the mystic community were born knowing, marked for the task, without needing to be trained or taught. We have been born with natural abilities and inclinations that transcend the barriers of Time and Space. Modern science rejects this concept in its entirety. Academically, it seems, no knowledge is possible without display of a visible learning curve. Speaking now in the first person I am saying that myself and others have visited some of the inner chambers of Cheops remotely, from the U.S., and we agree regarding what was seen. I am also reporting that the macrocosmic Pi discovery came when a new calculator malfunctioned. The location of the Light Well at Giza was given when my daughter plunged a pencil point onto a map while she was looking at the ceiling. The layout of the Giza plain was made evident intuitively from the Light Well location. The interior ramp scenario was obtained on a clairsentient basis. From these separate events and methods, enhanced by a vast academic study and the application of intuitive thought, that which had been scattered has been reassembled. To the rationally minded, the mental processes of intuitives appear to be working backwards. But the whole process of tracing the devolution of mysticism involves working from the present into the past. In other words mystic archeologists necessarily have to be able to work backwards in Time. This is enhanced, and is supported by, the concept of reincarnation. The Egyptian civilization was stable over at least four millenniums. Probably the vast majority of currently incarnated souls have experienced multiple lifetimes in ancient Egypt. The experience of these lifetimes remains latent in the consciousness of this type of person, needing only to be triggered to jump start ancient memories. For myself and many others this came when we read The Secrets of the Great Pyramid by Peter Tompkins. In 1989 I went to Giza to verify the information that had been obtained remotely. I was able to find the Light Well at Giza precisely where it was suppose to be in less than five minutes on my first visit. The well, the ramp, the alignments, and the walls were all precisely where they should be. In this regard I accomplish more in my first five minutes than others have in their entire combined lifetimes. That all of the information I had been given was accurate and observable is the linkage between theory and fact. The photograph in MARKING MORE THAN TIME was published by Archeology Magazine accompanying an article by Hawass and Lehner. In the moment I saw it I realized that it represented absolute proof that the Pyramids were not built as separate projects by different independent Pharaonic administrations, but that they were all three part of a master plan. For the shadows of all three Pyramids to swing into perfect alignment is not an accident, nor is it belief, which is what drives religion and its burial rituals. The plans and their scaling were part and parcel of one grand project. This project was installed and constructed over several generations by architects, artisans, tradesmen, and laborers who were responsible for specific sections but were most likely to be unaware of the master purpose. That they were built as tombs for Pharaohs is ludicrous.* Regardless of the source, the information presented at the Open Cheops website should be taken seriously at the highest levels of Egyptian administrations if a quantum leap in knowledge for all mankind is to be obtained. * Dr. Zahi Hawass stated in Oct.'03 that there is no evidence of any burials in a great pyramid, and that we ( he) didn't actually know if they were tombs at all. This is a major victory for the Open Cheops Committee and its theories. MYSTIC ARCHEOLOGY NOW LEADS THE WAY
